BACON

FOR

THE WIN

This project didn't allow as much creative reign with the body copy or imagery, but I stepped out of the box in my design by creating the "W" out of bacon to match the bandages. This project was primarily focused on page alignment and understanding the proper flow of eyes across a page.

Although I didn't hold entire creative freedom, this project was awarded first place due to the creative touches and hierarchy established in the design.

Make it stand out.

SMALL

but

MIGHTY

It all begins with an idea. For this project, the strategy was to use a mind-map to find a unique selling point for this EWA speaker. The goal was to make unordinary connections and find a different way to market a commonly used item. I didn’t want to focus on JUST the sound or the battery life, I wanted this to be an ad you couldn’t forget.

With the size being barely over 2.5 inches, I immediately went with the CRAZY, outlandish adjective… little. This led to many connections with baby, then loud, then up all night, etc. Finally I ended up with the final product, “A little one you WANT to be loud.”
